“We are the young generation, we are the young Malaysians, it is our future we are talking about, and we want a sustainable, green, beautiful, secure planet that we can show our own children with our very own eyes instead of just through pictures in history books – We want a future. And let us manage the waste”.
yeah..!! i really agree with the video..now,we should start thinking, are those pollution, global warming etc..will be caused by nuclear power plant also in future..?Save our beloved earth.

but i kinda disagree with the statement that mentioned in the video..is it true the cost of NPP is same with the coal/natural gas power plant?and also, the nuclear material unexpensive? in my opinion, the factor that most country dont have any nuclear power plant is the cost so expensive.summore, our country dont have any radioactive material..so we must import the uranium from other country.i'm assure the price for the uranium is very expensive.
by the way,i'm very agree and support if malaysia wanna start nuclear power plant as the main source to generates electricity.we must act fast to save our planet before too late.
go go nuclear!! save our earth together! @_@

Indeed, nuclear can save the environment... We need the environment to be clean so that we live peacefully...
If Malaysia wants to build a nuclear power plant, then at least build it at somewhere safe and I mean safe from 'terrorist' attack... As good as the nuclear can give us, it still can cause us trouble...

Nice video.I agree with the statement as given in the video, but yet i only agree for the seven statement out of eight statement given.the seven i agree i stated as below. 1)fissle atoms contain vast amount of energy 2)no green hs effect 3)nuclear fuel is inexpensive 4)waste is highly compact 5)the compact fuel easy to transport 6)reduces depends on foreign oil & natural gas 7)nuclear power cost the same as coal
only this statement i disagree partially . (nuclear waste can be stored underground) .i just a question about this statement, how much waste does the nuclear power plant will generate for usage of 1 year or 10years ..will it consume lot of space to store them?is it safe to store them?
My vote for Malaysia to have nuclear power plant in Malaysia as soon as possible.
i agree that we need to take action to save our earth. however the arguments in favour of nuclear in the video are not convincing enough. if we want more people to be in favour of nuke, we need to show more concrete and elaborated points to the general public.
actually there are goods and bads about nuke power plant.well yes somwhow we need to control the pollution that happening around.so we can reduce the global warming as well.

nice video.. the idea is clear. by having a nuclear power plant, we can save our earth. no global warming, no pollution. we can assure that if malaysia need to import uranium, its still worth the money we will spend. we can live in a clean environment.
Malaysia should start taking bigger steps in making nuclear energy as one of our main source of energy. NPP is a great idea but we still need to think wisely on how to prevent radiation from spreading and other cons too. We need to save our Mother Earth from pollution and global warming. Be green!

Nice video. You all have the idea. But the message of this video is not strong and convincing enough. All the 8 statement given should be explain more.
My suggestion is the introduction should be simpler but informative. And highlight more on the main point( which is the 8 statement given)

hye..nice video..from this video, i can conclude that nowadays our earth suffer many types of pollution or trouble..so, from what i know about the nuclear, i think nuclear is very suitable for solving these problem..it is green technology..therefore, every country in the world including Malaysia should have nuclear power plant..TQ

everyone now knows the benefits of a NPP...the green power!but anyway...will it be really a good idea to build our very own NPP...as we know malaysia is a densed population country...how safe are we??
The location of the power plant should be as far away from civilization as possible to be safe to any human being, Since the possibility of a meltdown is a constant worry to everyone. We might not be building anything if the public does not support the idea of having a NPP. The main idea is to slowly convert all power plants into a nuclear/renewable energy power plant so that the earth could be safe. The possibility is endless but will end once the earth dies. So, we have to open the eyes of the public so that they can learn to accept a NPP.

ReplyDeleteHow much does nuclear waste storage actually cost and with that factored in, is nuclear energy still cheap?
